The primary sources I chose for my project are all diverse, complex perspectives on the same issue. These perspectives consist of such ones as news reports of an assassination of a dictator, in depth CIA documents detailing and going into depth on the brutal assassination policies, tools and methods. I picked these documents as I wanted to deeply analyze the intervention and eventual coup that took place in Guatemala. I wanted to explore the corruption by the United Fruit Company, and explore the possible connections that relate to interventions in other countries by the United States.
